WALSH BAY ARTS PRECINCT
MASTERPLAN

Environmental Impact Statement: The next Step in the development of the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. The development is considered to be of State Significance.  Accordingly, Arts NSW have lodged the Environmental Impact Statement for the Materplan with Planning NSW.

The Masterplan allows for the redevelopment of Piers 2/3 and 4/5 and the boardwalk in between.  It includes better interaction with the water via steps.

The vision for Walsh Bay is to create a sustainable and activated arts and culture precinct that supports and nurtures Sydney’s home-grown culture and creativity. As a destination, it will be inclusive and accessible to all. It will be alive at all hours of the day and display a vibrant and accessible night life.

Full details  are available on the Planning NSW Website.

Comments can be made directly on the Website prior to 15 August.
