Sydney Festival

Sydney Theatre

8-23 JANUARY 2015: Walsh Bay joins in the festivities of the Sydney Festival in 2015 with an amazing performance at Sydney Theatre!
One of the world's greatest circus performers, James Thierree brings to Sydney his most extravagant work to date.  Thierree's newest work portrays the dark and delirious world of a disillusioned ruler haunted by images of beauty and chaos.
On a stage off mirrors, music and movement, Thierree pushes the boundaries of circus, dance and theatre to create a show "full of real power and dark beauty".

Everyone in Millers Point appreciates your support at this difficult time for our community. We love living alongside the Walsh Bay community and organisations such as yours in this arts precinct.
Margaret and John have been setting up a website for Millers Point which we hope you will visit...
On this site and elsewhere we have been writing and publishing stories about Millers Point, the place and the people. This is our way of supporting our community. Kelli Hayes, a Walsh Bay resident, is setting up a Friends of Millers Point organisation. We would love you to be part of this when it is up and running."

Thursday 11 December: Put this date in your Diary!
This Party is
There are some changes to the format this year, Including a start and finish time, being 5pm to 11pm, so don't be late.  There will be a DJ rather than a band, to play everybody's favourites, including requests, so think of what you want to dance to and if you let me know ahead of time I will make sure it is available.  Sadly we cannot afford Santa this year due to the increased costs of Santa Liability Insurance.
Some old favourites will remain, including the Famous Walsh Bay Beer, specially brewed and bottled by the Manage Meant team.  As always there will be plenty to eat and drink, with Fresh Seafood, Spit Roasts, Paella and a selection of great treats donated from the local restaurants.
This is a great time to get together and meet new neighbours or catch up with those you already know.  Celebrate the great sense of community that has been developed in Walsh Bay.
The Team at Manage Meant look forward to seeing you all for a great night!
